The servo drive board controls the motor based on control signals. Its proper function is key to the device’s overall performance. Gorzim, as a professional electronic manufacturing service provider, offers various motor driver boards. We support both OEM and customized services.
In a servo control system, the drive board acts as the brain, while the motor serves as the hands and feet. The drive board’s main role is to regulate motor speed, making it an automatic speed control system.
The internal structure of the servo drive board includes a power supply circuit, relay board, main control board, drive board, and power conversion circuit. The power supply circuit converts external DC power into different DC outputs. It provides energy to the relay board, drive board, and power conversion circuits. The relay board handles signal control and detection.
At its core, the intelligent servo drive board uses a digital signal processor (DSP). It includes motion control, PLC, and servo control algorithms. The power board converts alternating current into direct current using a bridge rectifier circuit. It then drives the three-phase AC servo motor through a three-phase sinusoidal PWM inverter. Powered by the DSP, the drive board handles signal acquisition, AD conversion, signal monitoring, data processing, and output. The system manages communication, PLC, PWM modulation, AD conversion, and pulse input acquisition. A kernel program coordinates task scheduling based on priority.
