At the same time, it can support high-bandwidth ordinary computer I-E devices. With ISA slot, it can provide good support for industrial ISA low-speed acquisition cards and data cards.

3. Safety and reliability: Industrial control motherboards have higher safety and reliability designs,strong shock and vibration resistance, including protection circuits, over-voltage protection, overheating protection, etc., to ensure the stable operation of the system in harsh environments.

4. Long-term supply and support: Due to the long-term use requirements of industrial applications, industrial control motherboards usually provide more comprehensive technical support and longer product life cycles so that users can obtain continuous upgrade and maintenance services during the life cycle of the equipment.

Differences in software:

1. Operating system: The operating system of industrial computers usually adopts embedded operating systems, such as Windows Embedded, Linux, etc. These operating systems have high stability and real-time performance and can meet the needs of industrial sites. Ordinary computers mainly use desktop-level operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, etc. These operating systems have high performance, but relatively low real-time performance and stability.

2. Driver: The driver of industrial computers usually adopts industrial-grade drivers, which have high stability and compatibility and can meet the needs of industrial sites. Ordinary computers mainly use desktop-level drivers, which have high performance but relatively low stability and compatibility.

3. Application software: The application software of industrial computers is usually customized for specific industrial application scenarios, with high professionalism and practicality. The application software of ordinary computers is mainly developed for daily office and entertainment scenarios, with relatively low professionalism and practicality.

Differences in application scenarios:

1. Working environment: Industrial computers are usually used in harsh working environments, such as high temperature, high humidity, high dust, strong electromagnetic interference, etc., and have high reliability and stability. Ordinary computers are mainly used in indoor office environments and have lower requirements for the working environment, and are generally only suitable for indoor environments.

2. Workload: The workload of industrial computers is usually large, requiring long-term stable operation, and has high reliability and stability. The workload of ordinary computers is relatively small, and the requirements for reliability and stability are relatively low.

3. Functional requirements: The functional requirements of industrial computers are usually more complex, requiring the realization of multiple control and communication functions. The functional requirements of ordinary computers are relatively simple, and are mainly used for daily office and entertainment.

In summary, there are obvious differences between industrial control motherboards and ordinary motherboards in terms of design concept, functional positioning and usage environment. Therefore, when the need for long-term and stable operation or work in special environments, industrial control motherboards may be more suitable; while when pursuing performance and comprehensive functions, ordinary motherboards are more in line with the needs.
